Waves of Renewal and Rest w/ Pete Lee

Join Pete and nurture your body, mind and spirit in a deeply healing and nourishing hour of gentle movement, guided breathwork, meditation and relaxation, and the grounding and expansive sound current of the gong.

Winter is a time of renewal - to hibernate, stay in, have comforting soups and stews, deeply rest and recharge.

As we’ve all been in a long period of uncertainty and shelter in place this year, sometimes the thought of staying more in and “doing nothing” might not immediately evoke a sense of ease.

And, practicing “doing nothing” isn’t necessarily “easy,” but the good news is - ease can be cultivated over time through an accumulated gentle and passive practice. When we can let go of effort and knee-jerk reactions to drop into a state of relaxation more often, we train our nervous systems to soften and, we can exhale fully and rest with more ease.

Have some pillows, cushions, and blankets handy. When we come lay down into savasana, it will be an opportunity to let go of all effort completely and melt into the support of the pillows, the mat, the earth, and the sound waves of the gong.

Allow the sound to do all the work, so you don’t have to do a single thing but simply receive the currents and waves and enjoy.
